Tijerina again eludes heavy damage in a bases-loaded jam, this time with one out in the 2nd inning.
He was saved by a brilliant throw on the tail end of a double play by former United High great O.J. Garza.
Playing mid-center, Garza collected a fly-out before throwing a fiery laser to catcher Kylee Hash to nail Shan Sullivan trying to score to end the inning,
The Colts have stranded six runners in the first two innings. In 2 innings, Tijerina has allowed four hits and has walked three.
The Broncos, again, went out meekly but at least tallied their first hit of the inning, courtesy of a Miguel Ortiz single.
