Maximo de la Cruz would be having quite a game if it wasn't for those darn home runs.
Cruz surrendered a lead-off solo blast to Bryan Frichter - Frichter's second of the game as he obviously has had no problems figuring out de la Cruz - to lead off the 3rd.
Then, moments later, with two outs, Nick Mahin drilled another solo blast, this one also to left field, to push the Colts ahead to 3-0 heading into the 4th.
Ryan Flynn got the Broncos' second hit of the game when he hit a blooper into shallow right field in the 3rd.
