Broncos drop to 0-2

It hasn't been the best of starts for the Broncos.

The Gateway Gang fell to 0-2 on the season after falling to Edinburg, 10-2, in Game 2 of its four-game series.

The Broncos scored two runs on six hits, with two errors, while the Roadrunners scored 10
runs on seven hits with one error.

Righty Gregorio Martinez was tagged with the loss after pitching 6.1 innings. He gave up seven runs, five of which were earned, on seven hits. He walked four and struck out three.

The Broncos' runs came early, when Ryan Flynn scored on an error and Andres "El Monkey" Santos tallied an RBI groundout to score Stephen Wright.

For more on the game, here's Ray Brito's account from Edinburg.

Righty Maximo de la Cruz is slated to pitch for the Broncos tomorrow. The final game of the series is Sunday.
