I'm here at Veterans Field as the Broncos (3-11) host the Amarillo Dillas (9-5) in Game 3 of the four-game series.
Tano Tijerina is on the mound tonight for Laredo, which will be without Argelis Nunez, who was suspended seven games today for allegedly spitting in the face of an umpire prior to his ejection last night.
Nunez had been a key offensive star for the Broncos, hitting .280 with nine RBIs and a homer.
The Dillas will have Ralph Roberts (0-0, 1.86 ERA) on the mound tonight.
Also new to the Broncos lineup, arriving at the start of this series, is shortstop Jaime Morales, who is said to have a great defensive glove.
He has, at least for the time being, replaced Ryan Flynn at shortstop.
