Cardona ties it up 2-2 into the 4th

The Broncos got on the board in the 3rd, courtesy of David Cardona's two-run blast to left field with one out that evened the score.

The Broncos now have 3 hits in the game.

Meanwhile, Tijerina continues to get bailed out by great defense. For the third consecutive inning, he went through a bases-loaded jam and for the third consecutive inning, a double play ended things with him unharmed.

He has surrendered eight hits (including a solo homer to Jason Landreth) and three walks. Yet, in spite of that, he's only given up two runs, which is more indicative of an active and athletic defense more so than his control and poise during those jams.
