Bartlett is struggling with his control mightily. At one point during the second inning, he threw 10 consecutive balls.
And while his ineffectiveness is obvious, the Broncos' defense is doing little to help. It has accounted for three errors already, and three of Bartlett's four runs allowed are unearned.
