Broncos vs. Colts, Game 4

Sorry for the lack of blogging lately. Been busy, busy, busy, but we're a go for today so here's what's up.

The Broncos are 7-16 overall heading into today's series finale against the Colts, who are 16-7 and in first place in United League Baseball.

The problems for the Broncos, 23 games in, are: pitching, defense and an inability, lately, to execute routine plays.

Their lone strength is offense, as they are still the second best offensive club in the league.

They are last in attendance (1,461 per game) and in pitching (5.44 team ERA).

And the issues get worse: Gustavo Vasquez, the No. 4 starter, is out indefinitely with pendicitis. Travis Parker (1-1, 16.20 ERA) is the spot starter tonight.

The Broncos will embark on an eight-game road trip to San Angelo and Amarillo following tonight's game.
