After a lethargic offensive night on Sunday (no runs, three hits), the Broncos slugged their way to a quick 4-0 lead into the 2nd inning.
David Cardona started things with a leadoff home run to left field on the first pitch he saw from Roadrunners starter Miguel Martinez.
Two batters later, Mario Mendez joined in on the home run derby with a solo shot of his own.
The Broncos added two more runs when Luany Sanchez and Andres Santos scored off an error by Roadrunners right fielder Eric Gonzalez, who misplayed a hit by Robert Moron.
