The Broncos won the three-game series against the WhiteWings, 2-1, and with Monday's 13 runs, they brought their series run total to 33 in three games.
They're now 17-15 on the season as they head into the start of a six-game homestand tonight against San Angelo at Veterans Field.
The Broncos led 7-6 before starter Gregorio Martinez (3-0) went out after throwing five innings, surrendering six runs on four hits while striking out six. But he struggled with his control all night, walking eight WhiteWings.
The good news for Laredo is that its Achilles Heel all season, its bullpen, came through in a big way, throwing four strong innings and allowing no runs on no hits.
It was a performance that surely made the trip back to Laredo more pleasant.
Justin Staatz, David Wasylak and Nathan Crawford would combine for the shutout in relief.
The Broncos opened the game for good with a six-run eighth inning on eight hits, taking advantage of two Harlingen errors.
Overall, Laredo scored its 13 runs on 14 hits and committed one error. Harlingen committed four errors.
